What's the process for creating a new website?

As I know most of my clients are busy with the day-to-day running of their business, I try to make the process as seamless and easy as possible:

  • I'll send you a rough draft version of your homepage so you can get an initial idea of the look and feel for your website
  • You'll fill out a quick Q&A scoping document so that I can get a clear idea of your requirements and learn a bit more about your business
  • Once you're happy to proceed I'll provide a quote, an architecture for your site's pages and a  Terms Agreement so both parties are legally protected
  • Your site will be created
  • You will receive your site on a staging URL to review and suggest amends
  • When you're happy with your website I'll transfer the hosting and it will be live on your URL
What are your payment terms and how am I protected?

Prior to the project starting I'll send you a quote outlining all final costs. Once you're happy with this I'll then send you a Terms Agreement to sign so both parties are legally protected.

I require 10% of the project cost to start creating your website and then when the website it built and you're fully happy with it you'll pay the final 90%, after which the hosting will be put live.

You have the choice as to whether you want to provide images and written copy for the website. It's a common problem that businesses often find it difficult to source the right images and copy, so I'm happy to provide these or offer advise.
